GENERAL DESCRIPTION

A controlled flocculation-type wetting and dispersing agent designed for medium to high polarity solvent-based coatings. It effectively prevents flooding and floating when titanium dioxide is used in combination with colored pigments.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT

During transportation and storage, separation and cloudiness may occur. Before use, heat the product to 30–60°C and mix thoroughly.

Recommended storage period should not exceed 12 months.

SPECIAL NOTES

Limited compatibility in coatings where gasoline is used as a solvent or diluent. A solvent-free version is available: Anjeka-6105.

Anjeka-6104R provides desirable controlled flocculation of pigments, forming athree-dimensional network by bridging pigment particles.

This controlled flocculationeffectively prevents flooding, floating, settling, and sagging. It is particularly suitable

for medium to high polarity coating systems to avoid issues when titanium dioxide is used together with colored pigments.

Note: It has limited compatibility with gasoline-based solvents. In many cases, when used in anti-corrosive primers, corrosion resistance is improved.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS

Dosage (as supplied), based on pigment:

Inorganic pigments: 2%–5%

Organic pigments: 10%–30%

Titanium dioxide: 1.0%–2.5%

Note: These are typical dosage levels; optimal dosage should be determined through a series of tests.

For best performance, the additive should be added to the mill base before pigment addition.
